Cycles of time

Equinox, and the surrounding window of 3 days on either side, is a powerful time for us all. Equinox was marked by the ancients as a time of great importance on the planet and they built monolithic structures to be able to keep track of them. They did this because they understood the cyclical nature of creation and their lives were a part of that cycle.

Equinox is regarded as that time when the Earth’s equator passes through the center of the Sun. In other words, it is the moment at which the center of the visible Sun is directly above the equator and on either side of the equator the day and night measures an equal length of 12 hours each.

What does this mean to you? It means harmony, alignment and coming into personal balance, it means releasing that which has kept you imbalanced and unhealed and entering that which facilitates wholeness. This may sound fabulous and it is for those willing to shed layer of egoic masking and emerge as the light being who they truly are. For those in resistance or unknowingly clinging to the old, it can be a very painful period. Subtle at first but with each passing equinox growing more and more intense. So what starts off as little whispers from the universe in amplitude to become unmistakable shouts that require action, willingness and awareness to deal with.

That understanding is the beginning of understanding an even greater concept knows as the Precession of the Equinoxes, which marks a circular plane dotted by each equinox over a 26 000 period to bring the circle to completion. The circle is caused by the cyclic precession of Earths wobbling axis in rotation. This is something that the Mayans documents and that many ancient cultures knew to be the natural cycle of earths rotational axis that takes place every 26 000 years. We are at that point now, where we are about to complete the circle, each preceding equinox bringing us closer to completion.

What does this mean for you? Completion of your souls journey through a cycle of experiences we have known as the 3rd dimension. Completion of a way of being that we can see so clearly is coming to an end. All completions carry with them an opportunity for a new beginning and a new cycle. What will yours be?
